ABOUT

Back by popular demand, SHOOTOUT! Is a quick-draw filmmaking challenge testing your filmmaking marksmanship by giving you the chance to make an AMAZING short film in 2-days!

5 filmmaking teams will be chosen to create a film in 2-days based on pre-submitted scripts.

Starting Friday morning, each team has until Sunday evening to shoot and post their film with a screening and celebration to be held on Sunday night. A panel of industry veterans will judge the films with the winning film receiving $5,000 in cash, goods, and services toward their next short film!

Canon cinema cameras and lenses, a small lighting package, a small sound package, and if needed, stock footage will be provided to the selected filmmakers by Canon, Shutterstock, Samy’s, Rode, G-Technology, Filmmakers Alliance and other partners. There will be talent available by Deborah Lemen Acting Studio. All other needs will be the responsibility of the filmmakers.
